FULL CIRCLE WITH GOD

13 For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb.  14 I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.(Psalm 139:13-14)

Winter comes to every child born. It may arrive early in one’s life, during youth, in mid-life, or at a more expected older age. When that time comes, the child, the youth, the adult, or the elder returns to the Father, the Creator who masterfully made each one of us in the beginning. We come from God, and we return to Him.

FULL CIRCLE.

Our spring, summer, and fall within that life circle become our life choices. God is always present, but the life we live through each season is one of personal decisions. Where will we turn to help us make these life choices, so we have the assurance that the Father will welcome us into eternity with Him?

5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

The answer is in His Word, but our hearts and desires often forget this as we try to direct our own paths, becoming entangled in the world’s ways which lead to heartache, grief, loss, distress, chaos, turbulence—SIN.

We may face heartache, grief, and loss when we seek God’s direction as well, but there is the promise of peace and calm when He is with us in our choices and decisions.

6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  7 And the peace of God, which transcends  all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)

WE ARE NOT ALONE.

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (John 14:27)

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13)

WHEN WINTER COMES.

 (1) For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. (2) Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, (3) because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked. (4) For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. (5) Now the one who has fashioned us for this very purpose is God, who has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. (I Corinthians 5:1-5)

During the seasons of our lives, when we long to be with Him yet live in this “earthly tent,” we must prepare for the winter when our burdens are lifted, and we meet Him again in the eternal dwelling.
